What do you get for your membership to SCCC?
Your dues allows the Craft Club to own a building, providing a place to teach and take classes; pay for the up-keep of the building, including insurance (both fire and liability); utilities, including water, electric and gas; for the heat and repairs to the building as needed.
Very little labor is charged to the Club as our members and husbands volunteer many services and hours.
Class fees cover only the supplies that the teacher provides for you to complete the project.
Many of the 2-hour classes that you complete as a member – for no charge – would cost $20- $50 if taken at a private studio or classroom.
Your dues really are a bargain when everything is considered.
Let’s work together to keep the Club doors open and remind each other not to complain too much.
